An Evening at the International Museum of Surgical Science
The Greater Chicago Area Chapter (GCAC) of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) invites you to attend our Spring networking event on Tuesday, May 15 at the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago.
The museum, a division of the International College of Surgeons, occupies an historic mansion that offers both beautiful views of Lake Michigan and fascinating exhibits that show the progress of medicine and surgery over time.
Some of the exhibits include The Universal Condition: Enduring and Alleviating Pain, Nursing: Care for a Changing World, and Supporting
Structure: Understanding the Spine and Spinal Surgery, among others.
Don't miss this opportunity to make new contacts and to connect with old friends while enjoying private access to the exhibits at the museum after hours.
(Tours of the exhibits may also be available, depending on availability of the museum's volunteer tour guides.)
Light refreshments will be served.
