If you freelance as a medical editor or writer, or are thinking about doing this type of work, then the GCAC Freelance Group is for you.

We are professionals, primarily members of the American Medical Writers Association/Greater Chicago Area Chapter (AMWA/GCAC), who come together periodically for networking and for educational and social activities. Meetings take place in the Chicago area, usually on weeknights but occasionally on weekends. Past meetings have included resume exchanges, a retirement planning seminar, and a summer picnic.
